We completed a drainage repair at a property in Scunthorpe to resolve a persistent issue affecting the upstairs toilet. The problem stemmed from a section of the drainage system where a 3-meter length of pipe was holding water at a 50% level. This was caused by an insufficient gradient, which prevented wastewater from flowing properly and led to recurring blockages.
To address the issue, we excavated the affected area and replaced the faulty 3-meter section of pipe with a new one. During the installation, we ensured the new drain was laid at the correct gradient, allowing wastewater to flow efficiently and preventing future build-up.
