Scunthorpe

We recently conducted a CCTV drain survey at a property in Scunthorpe in response to concerns about potential rat activity. The goal was to identify any damaged or defective pipes that rodents could use to gain access to the property.

During the inspection, we discovered a large open joint in the drainage system connected to the downstairs toilet. This significant defect was identified as a likely entry point for rats, allowing them to infiltrate the property through the sewer network.

To address the issue, we carried out a targeted repair of the open joint. By replacing the damaged section of pipe, we restored the structural integrity of the pipe and eliminated the access point for rodents. This proactive measure not only resolved the immediate problem but also helped to prevent future breaches, ensuring the property remains secure and free from rat-related issues.
